Feliciana Harvest Church
We had a wonderful family reunion here at Feliciana Harvest Church. It was an amazing feeling to come to this church, and celebrate our Father together as Americans, Canadians and Tanzanians – Maasai (Masai) even! And it was a beautiful evening, welcoming 5 brothers into the family!
The En-kata Choir received such a warm welcome at Feliciana Harvest Church. We were surprised to be offered chai that tasted just like home… or maybe a little bit better! Naitapoaki (who is an expert at chai-making) said that it was the best chai she had tasted in America!
We were surprised and delighted to discover that our hosts had done some research and made us food from Tanzania! It was such a generous gesture to give us a taste of home!
Sarah decided that even though she had blond hair and blue eyes, she was Maasai (Masai). By the end of the night Sifa and Naitapoaki had her speaking as much Maa as I do! Clever little girl!
Sarah really was a piece of heart candy to all these women missing their little ones back at home. May this girl’s ministry of warming hearts continue as she grows up to love Jesus more and more!
We met James Pursifull, who is a board member of Pamoja USA. He made an impression by picking Mathayo up by his ears, making coins disappear, and other generally entertaining antics.
Mathayo loves pointing out his dad, his brother and his sisters in the “En-kata A Time For Singing” photobook.
I’m pretty sure that we’re going to be friends with this family for a very long time! PS. check out Sarah’s pink shoes. Tell me those aren’t the coolest EVER!?

Pastor Jonathan and Debbie Samuel
Pastor Jonathan and Debbie Samuel, thank you so much for opening your church to the community, and to Africa as well. We were blessed beyond measure. It was a delight to meet other brothers and sisters in this international family. And I won’t forget my five new brothers who we were able to welcome into the family! We are praying for you and blessing you every time we remember you!
